The brushed steel housing with black accents has the look of a professional kitchen tool. There is a simple temperature knob, and a green ready light tells when the proper oil temperature has been reached. A view window in the lid helps with keeping an eye on what's frying inside.
Safety features include non-skid feet, sturdy lid and side handles, an exterior housing that stays cool, and a magnetic cord that will detach if the machine is jostled, effectively shutting it down. It also has a filter in the lid that traps odor-causing smoke during cooking.
